A BADMINTON competition took place at Avon Valley College as part of the Salisbury School Sport Partnership.
Teams from Bishop Wordsworth’s School won both the Key Stage 3 and 4 competitions and will go on to the county finals in Tidworth on February 4.
The top two seeds played singles and then there were three doubles matches, with the competition split into two pools followed by semi-finals and then finals.
In the Key Stage 3 competition, second and third place went to Stonehenge School, Avon Valley College came fourth, Wellington Academy was fifth and Trafalgar School sixth.
Stonehenge School came second in the Key Stage 4 competition, Trafalgar teams came third and seventh, fourth and fifth place went to Wellington Academy teams, and Avon Valley College came sixth.
