CHILDREN at Mere School have been getting in the Christmas spirit with their festive performances.
Key Stage 1 children performed Robin’s Christmas Sing-along this week, about a little red-breasted Robin who loves to sing. Children in Key Stage 2 performed What Christmas Means To Me, about what shapes our experiences of the festive season.
Rachel Porter, chairman of the school governors, said: "The young children put on another really confident performance. It was lovely to see the Reception class pupils taking part in their first big public show, and to see how self-assured the Year 1 and 2 children have become in the past year."
