ELEVEN people were injured in a four car crash along the A303 just after midday on Boxing Day.
A crash involving a black BMW convertible, a black Mitsubishi Outlander, a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Vauxhall Astra happened on the westbound carriageway at Charnage Hill between Wylye and Chicklade.
The eleven injured people were taken to Salisbury District Hospital, one of them by air ambulance.
The road was closed in both directions for five hours to allow for police investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact the serious collision investigation team at Wiltshire Police on 101.
