THE Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital in Newton Tony is appealing for donations to help 145 hedgehogs that are currently in its care.
The centre sees an annual increase in the number of autumn juvenile hedgehogs at this time of year, which are old enough to be away from their mothers but too small to hibernate.
Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital is appealing for donations of food including meat flavoured dog and cat food, cat biscuits, newspapers and towels. Donated items can be taken to the centre in Amesbury Road or for more information call 01980 629470.
