SKA group The Intercepteurs launched their highly anticipated album Aunt Peggy Goes Motoring at a celebration gig at the Winchester Gate in Salisbury on Friday.

It’s been a big year for the six-piece band, pictured, from playing on the main stage in front of thousands at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee event at Hudson’s Field in June to winning three awards at the Salisbury Music Awards last month.

Frontman John Martin recorded the album, which features tracks including Northern Song, Stepping Around, Endless Street and Skandalized, in his shed.

Fans will also be pleased to hear Don’t Call Me Alan, which was recently voted BBC Wiltshire’s Best Song of 2012.
