Event in aid of Scotty's Little Soldiers

A CHARITY fashion show is being held to raise money for children who have lost a parent in the army.

Specsavers’ Salisbury Branch is holding the event on January 23 to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity set up by Tidworth widow Nichola Scott after her husband Lee was killed in Afghanistan.

Organiser Kayleigh Blackwell from Specsavers said: “It’s a charity close to all our hearts as we all know or have loved ones in the army. We thought it would be great to raise money for the children who have lost their parents.”

The evening at the Chapel Nightclub, which starts at 7pm, features a fashion show with hair done by Toni & Guy and clothes from New Look and will also include a champagne reception, DJ, open bar and performances from Pole Palace acrobatic pole dancers and singer Just Millie.

There will also be a raffle with prizes including football tickets, dinner, hampers and designer glasses and Salisbury City Football Club players will be there supporting the event.

Tickets cost £7.50 and are available in advance from the Specsavers store in Catherine Street or on the door. The event is for adults only.
