Champagne stolen from Wilton shop

TWO bottles of champagne were stolen from a shop in Wilton.

The incident happened at about 12.55pm on Thursday, December 13 when a man went into the One Stop shop in North Street and is believed to have hidden two bottles of Francois Dubois Brut Champagne worth about £29.98 under his jacket before leaving without making any effort pay.

The man is described as white, of slim build, in his early to mid 20s. He had an angular face and was wearing grey deer stalker type hat, a white hooded puffa jacket and black trousers.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
