Volunteering opportunities available

First published in by

PEOPLE in Amesbury who may be able to spare a little time to become volunteers are invited to a drop-in session to find out about the opportunities available in the town and surrounding areas.

Volunteer Centre Wiltshire will be holding the session at Amesbury Library on February 4.

The centre currently has more than 100 volunteering opportunities waiting to be filled and information will be available for a range of roles including being a community representative for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a family support home visitor, a wildlife watch leader or using IT skills to help others.

The event will run from 2pm to 4pm. Those who can make it but would like to find out more can call 0845 5216224 or visit volunteercentrewiltshire.org.uk.
