THREE volunteers are urging people to take part in a 5k walk around Salisbury for a heart charity.
Godfrey Ball, Alison Rosier and Annie Scadden have been working together to encourage people to slip on their hiking shoes and help raise funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The walk, which takes place on Sunday, March 24, starts at Queen Elizabeth Gardens and follows a series of streets and pathways across the city.
Mr Ball said: “Having a heart condition myself, I know that walking is a great way to help keep your heart healthy. The planned walk around Salisbury provides a good opportunity to get friends, colleagues and family members together for a hearty walk that will not only help keep your own heart fit, but help the BHF keep other hearts beating it too.”
