New mayor for Salisbury

SALISBURY City Council has voted for its next mayor and deputy mayor, provided they are re-elected in the upcoming elections.
At a full council meeting in the Guildhall on Monday, members voted for the current deputy, councillor Penny Brown, to take over from current mayor John Collier when his year in office comes to an end.
They also voted for current council leader Jo Broom to be her deputy.
