LAND lubbers at Fordingbridge Infant School transformed themselves into seafaring scoundrels on a day dedicated to pirates.

Ben Lindsey-Clark from Treehouse Theatre told pirate stories and taught pirate songs to the Year 2 pupils as part of their Island topic.

Year 2 teacher Frances Bland said: “The children absolutely loved the event and enjoyed the story telling and singing aspects of it. They were given bandanas to wear before creating their own stories.”
