POLICE are appealing for information about two attempted burglaries in Salisbury.
The two incidents happened on January 15 on Netheravon Road. The first was at about 3.40am when offenders damaged a shed door in an attempt to break in, but ran off when they were disturbed.
About 20 minutes later there was another attempted break in at a garage on the same road.
The neighbourhood policing team are advising people to make sure sheds are secure by keeping the door, doorframe and walls of your shed are in good repair, lining it with plywood sheeting, using a good quality close shackle padlock, fitting wire mesh to windows, registering serial numbers of items with Immobilise.com and checking you have the correct insurance cover for the items in your shed.
Anyone with information about these incidents can contact PC Sam Dutton at Salisbury Police Station on 101.
