BLACK ice on the roads caused several crashes happened in the Salisbury area this morning.
A Honda Civic slid on ice and rolled into a field near Bulford Hill in Durrington at 6.55am.
A green Peugeot crashed into a ditch along the A360 at Shrewton at about 8.03am and just before that a Nissan pick-up truck flipped onto its roof near the Wilton park and ride.
There was also a crash along the A30 in Ludwell, involving one car, at about 6.05am and one in Ludgershall near Wellington Academy where a car hit a tree, but emergency services were not required.
No one was injured in any of the crashes but a woman was taken to hospital for a check-up after losing control of her silver Mazda MX5 and crashing into a hedge in Shute End, Alderbury, at about 8.05am.
Police are urging motorists to take care on the roads and be aware of black ice.
