Volunteers needed for food centre

First published in News by

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help support a new Salisbury-based food centre for those in need.

The Pantry Partnership (TPP), a social enterprise that holds food events to raise awareness and funds for food related causes, has teamed up with Foodcycle UK to collect surplus food from local stores.

Foodcycle UK uses surplus food in free kitchen space to create nutritious meals for people in poverty with the help of volunteers.

TPP is looking for volunteers to launch the new Salisbury hub and to be involved in collecting and preparing food, cooking, serving and washing up. Volunteers do not need any special skills, just spare time and an enthusiastic approach.
