A FASHION show has raised more than £600 for children of servicemen and women.

Specsavers in Salisbury held the event to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity set up by Tidworth widow Nichola Scott after her husband Lee was killed in Afghanistan.

The event at The Chapel Nightclub included a fashion show with hair done by Toni & Guy and clothes from New Look, L’Occitane doing hand massages and samples, Hotel Chocolat samples, Elemis pampering and samples and Benefit make-up. There were performances from acrobatic act Pole Palace and local singers Luke Marsden, Just Millie and Ed Follett.

Specsavers directors Anna Dailey and Sue Marchant said: “It proved to be a fantastic success. Who would have thought that so many local businesses would pull together to create such an exciting event?

“We are privileged to have been the choreographers of the event and are delighted to be able to pass the money on to a very deserving charity.”

They thanked their team for all their hard work organising the event and wanted to thank everyone who helped make the night a success.
