ALDERHOLT Musical and Dramatic Club will be performing their annual pantomime in the village hall this weekend.

Puss in Boots will be staged on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with tickets available from the village post office.

The show has been especially written by Geoff Sims, who trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and is being produced by his father Frank. There are several new members performing for the first time this year.

Secretary Sue Sims said: “It is great to have increased interest from villagers, especially from some younger members.”

As usual the Friday evening performance is a charity event with a percentage of ticket sales and the proceeds from the raffle this year going to Poitiers Care, a local food bank.
