About 12 boxes containing military memorabilia, silver items, a small Meissen pot with an orange rosebud handle, engraved hip flasks and lead soldiers, were stolen at some point between January 10 and 22.
Other items stolen include brass candle holders, a 1700 hide book with handwritten notes inside, a Clarice Cliff crocus bowl and other pieces, a Nijmagen medal, an assortment of Gendarmerie buttons, a light infantry pennant and two silver tipped Swagger sticks.

“These items were collected by the owner over many years and have huge sentimental as well as financial value.”
