A SURPRISE leaving party was held on Monday for a careers adviser who worked at Wiltshire College in Salisbury for 17 years. Lynne Sillett was a careers adviser and NVQ assessor who set up several job fairs at the college and took students to university conventions.

She has left the college to work at the Shaw Trust in Salisbury, which provides training and work placement opportunities for adults with disabilities. Staff and students held a leaving party at the college on Monday to say goodbye.

“I’m not ready to retire yet, I’ve got lots of things I still want to do and use my skills to help people in the Salisbury community,” she said.
