Angler fined for fishing without licence

AN angler from Netheravon has been ordered to pay £367.47 after fishing without a licence in Romsey.
Trevor Barrett, 38, of Court Farm Close, was caught fishing at Broadlands Lake on July 22.
Magistrates in Southampton fined him £225 and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £127.47 to the Environment Agency.
