ROAMING Romans were spotted at Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum today.
Centurions were on hand to show off their weaponry, while youngsters had the chance to try on armour, learn about Roman medicines and draw swords.
Visitors also helped artist Joanna Dewfall create a new mosaic featuring hares to show the animal’s role in art, culture and myth.
Storyteller Lizzie Bryant told some tales and younger children created their own mini mosaics using paper and felt.
