POPULAR author Joanna Trollope visited Salisbury this week to meet fans and talk about her latest book.
Trollope is the author of 17 highly acclaimed bestselling novels, including A Village Affair, The Choir and The Rector’s Daughter.
Her latest book, The Soldier’s Wife, is about troops returning from a six-month tour in Afghanistan to their bases in Larkhill and Bulford, and to celebrate its release Trollope is touring bookshops and libraries.
The event in Salisbury was held at Chafyn Grove School on Monday night with about 70 fans attending to hear Trollope talk about her writing process, read extracts from The Soldier’s Wife, answer readers’ questions and sign copies of her book.
