VICARS launched helped the Trussell Trust launch its Lent Appeal today.
Revd David Linaker from St Thomas’s Church and Revd Becky Roberts from Harnham parish pitted their pancake-flipping prowess against a team from the charity as they raced along the Salisbury High Street.
The message from the charity, which supplies food parcels to people in need, is to Give it up for Foodbanks.
People are being asked to give up something they love for Lent and to donate the money they save to the charity.
