9:43am Thursday 21st February 2013 in News By Corey Ross
POLICE are appealing for information after two men tried to fill a trolley with alcohol at Tesco and leave without paying.
The incident happened at about 7.45pm on February 13 when the men entered the store on Southampton Road in Salisbury and filled a trolley with £1,474 worth of alcohol. When they were challenged by security staff they ran off.
Both men are described as Eastern European, aged in their twenties with short, dark hair. One was wearing a dark coloured body warmer with a grey jacket/hoodie underneath. The other was wearing a long-sleeved grey top.
Police have issued CCTV images of two men they would like to talk to in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Alex Collins at Salisbury Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
