Heart Walk in Salisbury

THE British Heart Foundation is calling on volunteers to register for a 5km walk in Salisbury.

The Heart Walk, which starts at Queen Elizabeth Gardens and goes through the streets of Salisbury, takes place on Sunday, March 24.

Alison Rosier, fundraising volunteer manager, said: “If the people of Salisbury get together by singing up for the Heart Walk, they’ll help us give hope to people living with heart failure and their families.”

Walkers need a minimum sponsorship of £50 to take part and the money raised will go towards the charity’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
