THE team behind Salisbury Fashion Week is organising a new spring/summer Fashion Day in the city for March 20.

The one-day only event will include a show and shopping evening at Salisbury City Hall between 6pm and 9pm.

It will see a range of retailers, both independent boutiques and national chains, taking to the runway to showcase the best of their Spring/Summer 2013 collections, as well as hosting events and promotions to enjoy throughout the day.

Among the shops taking part are Regent Tailoring, Animal, Jigsaw and Beulah’s Vintage Attic. Also attending the event will be Neal’s Yard Remedies, Sassy Bags and Frolickings Cosmetic and Cupcake Heaven.

Organisers Jayne Prigent of JAS Hair Group and Catherine Dunning of Ladies who Love…Events, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone on March 20.

“Having organised two very successful autumn/winter fashion weeks, it’s time to showcase Spring/Summer fashions and there are some great looks for this season that we can’t wait to show off.”

Tickets are just £15pp (to include a welcome drink and canapés) - £10pp if booked before midnight on March 6. For more details or to purchase tickets visit salisburyfashionweek.co.uk or call 01722 330913.
