THE author of a book about the early days of Larkhill and aviation will be signing copies on March 9.
Timothy C Brown will be at Cross Keys Bookshop from 11am signing copies of Flying with the Larks: The Early Aviation Pioneers Of Larkhill.
Larkhill was the location of one of the first flying schools in Britain, and lays claim to being Britain’s first military airfield and home to the first British military fixedwing aeroplane squadron.
The book, published by The History Press in support of the National Trust, is priced at £14.99.
