Charity tapathon
3:03pm Tuesday 5th March 2013 in News By Jill Harding
TAPPERS of all abilities are being invited to take part in a charity tapathon on Sunday, March 24.
The event, being held at Salisbury Dance Studios, is raising money for the Katie Piper Foundation, which supports people suffering from disfigurements including burns and scars.
Dancers are being asked to join one-hour tap sessions that will run between 10am and 5pm.
There will be sessions for all abilities including people who have never danced before, and tap shoes will be available to borrow.
Teachers and senior students from the dance studios will run the sessions and there will be the chance to learn new steps and dance routines.
It costs £6 for adults to take part and £5 for children.
Dancers are welcome to turn up at Salisbury Dance Studios, Wilton Road on the day.
