AVIATION enthusiasts are being invited to an areobilia sale on Saturday, March 23.
The event takes place at the recently relocated Boscombe Down Aviation Collection at Old Sarum, and traders and enthusiasts will be able to buy, sell and swap aviation related memorabilia or aircraft parts.
Volunteers at the museum will be on hand to explain more about the historic aircraft on display and work being undertaken to restore them.
They hope the event might unearth missing parts from various aircraft including a Rolls Royce Derwent jet engine that has been restored by volunteer Herbie Fatherly but is still missing its combustion chambers.
The areobilia sale is open to the public and there will be a chance to explore the museum and sit in the cockpits of the aircraft, which reflect the history of flying at Boscombe Down.
