SHOPPERS were treated to a special surprise on Saturday when Salisbury’s rock choir carried out a flash mob style performance at the Old George Mall.

The event was in aid of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

Salisbury Rock Choir leader Natasha Willis said: "This year, Red Nose Day is about doing something funny for money, and there are several fundraising themes, including Go Eighties, and Dare.

“We thought it would be a great idea to do both, and we did a flash mob style performance of the 80s anthem You're the Voice. The choir also dared Salisbury mayor John Collier to sing with them, and he agreed to appear at a community show being held tonight.

The public are welcome to attend the event, being held at Elim Church, Dews Road at 8pm.

Entry is free with a collection on behalf of Comic Relief.
