Police investigate missing wallet claim

POLICE are investigating after a man reported waking up on the ground in Salisbury with his wallet missing.

The incident happened in an alleyway between Macklin Road and India Avenue at about 10.30pm on March 1 when the incident happened.

The 50-year-old man did not sustain any injuries and it is unclear what happened to him.

The wallet was found by a passerby a few hours later and returned to the man, but there may have been a small amount of cash missing. DS Nigel Porter of Salisbury Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 10.15pm and 11pm.
