A 51-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has died following a crash on Saturday afternoon on the A30 at Ansty Coombe, near Tisbury.
The Shaftesbury man was travelling towards the town when he was in collision with a dark grey Mercedes that was turning from an unclassified road onto the A30.
He was flown by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital, suffering from life-threatening injuries and died on Tuesday morning. The Mercedes driver, a foreign national, was arrested at the scene.
Any witnesses to the collision, which happened at 3.18pm, are asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
