YOU can now follow the activities of East Dorset rural police on facebook and Twitter.

Here are examples of the incidents they have tweeted in the last week:

  • Sometime between September 1 and 7 a gold-coloured stone cocker spaniel was stolen from the doorstep of a property in the Alderholt area.
  • In the Mannington area on September 6, between 00.01am and 5.40am a shed and numerous outbuildings at a property were broken into. All the buildings were locked and secured with padlocks which offenders have cut off and left at the scene, and two air rifles were taken.

Police enquiries have revealed that a suspicious green/yellow Transit van was seen in the area on the night. If you have any information regarding these crimes call Dorset Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
