A YOUNG woman who wants to raise money for injured services personnel has organised a charity photo session.

Zoe Peters has already raised £537 towards her cycle ride in aid of Help for Heroes, and now she has organised a second event on November 23.

In return for a donation to the charity, a professional photographer will be charging just £10 for ten portraits and £20 for 25. The event will be held at Bemerton Methodist Church hall in Roman Road, Salisbury between 9am and 6pm.

Zoe, who lives in Quidhampton, said since the first photography session was so successful in raising money, she had decided to try a second.

She is seeking to raise £3,100 for the 300-mile cycle ride around Vietnam in March. Of the money she must raise, £1,400 will cover her expenses and the rest will go to Help for Heroes.

The 25-year-old said: “I am interested in this charity because my dad was in the army and my brother was in the navy and I know quite a lot of people in the services.”

She has previously cycled from London to Brighton in aid of the charity.
