FESTIVE dogs from Greyhound Rescue West of England will be donning antlers and tinsel to promote the charity on Monday.
Volunteers and dogs that have been rehomed locally will be in Salisbury’s High Street from 9am to 2pm.
Events co-ordinator Michele Way said: “We’ll be adding to the Christmas spirit with a host of lovely dogs dressed as Santa’s little helpers, doing their bit to raise awareness of what wonderful pets rescued dogs become.”
GRWE was named Animal Charity Team of the Year this year by the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes and the team are looking forward to a great 2014.
“We have a great record for matching good homes to suitable dogs and expect next year to be our best yet.”
Find out more at grwe.com or chat to some of the volunteers on Monday.
