A CHRISTMAS fun day to raise money for charity is taking place at The Slug and Lettuce in Salisbury on Sunday.
The venue will be raising money for Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal, with lots of activities for children including cake decorating, face painting, colouring and craft as well as visits to Santa’s grotto. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a hot Pimm’s.
General manager Melissa Sayer said: “We are hosting this event to get everyone in the Christmas spirit and to raise money for a good cause – helping the Stars Appeal provide equipment for the local hospital. We pride ourselves on offering a family friendly atmosphere and have planned a whole host of entertainment.”
