MOTORISTS are being warned to take extra care on the roads as icy conditions have caused a number of crashes in south Wiltshire this morning.
Six cars crashed on the A343 near Lopcombe Corner at about 8am and a woman was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with a head injury.
A Jeep Cherokee and a Renault Scenic crashed in Fir View Road, Salisbury at 7.42am and the driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries.
A black Ford Focus crashed in Bulford at about 4am and a silver Vauxhall crashed on the A36 in Alderbury just after 8am.
