A CHARITY boxing night organised by the Bransgore Rotary Club raised a knockout £2,000 for the Royal Bournemouth Hospital’s new Jigsaw building.

A Bournemouth Amateur Boxing Association inter-county boxing match and three-course meal was held at the Carrington Hotel, with money raised from ticket sales, a raffle and an auction.

The Jigsaw building is being constructed at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital to bring together oncology, haematology, gynaecology, breast care and early pregnancy in two new units.

The Bournemouth Hospital Charity aims to raise £2m each year to support the patient experience above and beyond what the NHS can afford. Donations to the charity provide the funding for much-needed equipment and resources.
