FLOOD alerts have been issued for areas surrounding the River Avon as more heavy rain is expected later today.
The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for tributaries between Ringwood and Christchurch. People living nearby are urged to be prepared as 10mm of rain was expected to fall today.
The Environment Agency said: “Water levels on the River Avon will remain high for several days. The river will now be very responsive to further rain.”
