Free course hopes to answer life's big questions

First published in News

CHRISTIANS are launching a course in Poulner that aims to answer the ‘big questions’ of life.

The Alpha course, which has been taken by millions of people in the UK, encourages people to explore the big mysteries of life: ‘What am I doing here?’ ‘Is there more to life than this? ‘Why do bad things happen to good people?’ The Alpha Course originated in the Church of England, but it is now supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Poulner Baptist Chapel is holding an introductory evening on Thursday, January 30 at 7.30pm. Organiser Adam Skirton said: “Everyone has questions about life, and it’s always interesting to hear people’s thoughts about the possible answers.

“The course is free and we encourage people to try the first week and then come along to the rest if they want. Everyone is welcome.”
