A QUIZ for young professionals in Salisbury has raised £300 for local charity Lucy’s Days Out.
The Salisbury Young Professionals (SYP) group recently presented a cheque for £300 to the charity, which provides trips and experiences for families living with serious illnesses, at Smith & Williamson’s offices.
The annual quiz was held at The Cosy Club in November and 45 young professionals from companies including Smith & Williamson, Trethowans, Moore Stephens and Wilsons took part.
The event took a lot of organising and thanks go to the committee members for all their hard work.
• The next fundraising event for the charity is a race night at Laverstock Village Hall on February 22. Tickets cost £5, but children are free, and the doors open at 7pm. For tickets contact Maria on 01722 325485.
