THE winner of a £10,000 prize in the Health Lottery has come forward after a media appeal.

Ronald Ricketts, 64, from Salisbury won the prize on Christmas Eve but hadn’t realised until an appeal was launched for him to come forward.

He said: “I was totally shocked to learn I had won as I had not checked my numbers properly.

“The money will help towards another car and of course I’ll treat the family a little bit.”

To date The Health Lottery has helped raise over £44m for good causes.
