A VOLUNTEER open day is to be held at Salisbury’s Mompesson House next week.
People interested in volunteering at the historic National Trust property, in The Close, can go along between 11am and 1pm on Thursday to talk to current volunteers and staff about their roles.
Fran Penny, House Steward at Mompesson House, said: “The volunteer open day will be a great opportunity for all those interested to come and find out more about volunteering with the National Trust.
“Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people. It can suit many different people, from those who are retired or have spare time, to parents with children at school. We need people for both weekdays and weekends and we’re keen to welcome new faces to our friendly team here at Mompesson.”
