POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two reported incidents of a man calling at homes in the Alderholt area on Saturday.
The man is described as aged 30-40 with a thin face and build, medium height. He is making excuses to try to gain access to rear gardens of the properties, such as rat problems and overhanging brambles.
When challenged the man has left.
PCSO Lou Hamilton said: “We advise you not to let anyone into your property or garden that you have not requested to come to your home.”Anyone who is approached in a similar way should contact Dorset Police on 101, with as much information as possible, as soon as possible.
