PEOPLE can learn how to save a life at a St John Ambulance first aid course being held in Salisbury at the weekend.

The popular Essential First Aid (EFA) training, to be held at the St John Ambulance building in Roman Road on Saturday is suitable for all ages.

In just three hours, an expert from the nation’s leading first aid charity will cover all of the basic skills needed to save a life, including resuscitation, bleeding and choking.

Everyone who successfully completes the session will get a certificate which lasts three years, together with a course book.

A place on the course costs £25, and others are due to be held on Saturday, March 15 and Saturday, April 26.
