A NEW monthly farmers’ and artisan market is starting in Salisbury on March 2.
The event will be held on the first Sunday of each month and showcase local food produce alongside artisan crafts and gifts.
The market will be open from 10am to 3pm each day.
Market manager for Salisbury City Council, Max Philip said: “This is a great opportunity for local food and artisan producers to sell their produce and promote their businesses. We are hoping these markets will grow over the months and the aim is a large market by the end of the year for everyone to enjoy.”
To be eligible for the farmers’ and artisan market, stallholders must offer locally produced products that are made within 50 miles of Salisbury.
