AS part of this year’s Fairtrade Fortnight, which started on Monday and runs until March 9, Salisbury Fair Trade Group has organised a Fairtrade lunch at Sarum College on March 2.
Chef Richard Amey will serve up a meal made from locally-sourced sourced and Fairtrade ingredients, with a Bishop Edward Condrey as guest speaker.
There will also be a Traidcraft stall and raffle.
Tickets are £12 each and are available by calling 01722 349740 Salisbury will also be participating in the national Fairtrade Fortnight campaign to raise awareness that by buying Fairtrade bananas they can be assured farmers have been given a fair price for their produce.
