MEMBERS of the choir at Chilmark and Fonthill Bishop Primary School have been putting their heart and soul into recent rehearsals.
Youngsters were invited to join the Salisbury Community Choir to record the song Inside My Heart in December.
The proceeds raised from downloads and the sale of the CD will be donated to the Rainbow Trust, which provides support to families with children suffering from life-limiting illnesses.
Salisbury Community Choir commissioned composer Will Todd to write the community work, The Garden City, which includes Inside My Heart, as part of its 21st birthday celebrations.
Headteacher Karen Kearney said: “This has been a fantastic opportunity for the children to take part in a community project that will benefit children who are less fortunate than themselves.”
