A GENEROUS donation from Sainsbury’s has benefited the under 9s at Ellingham & Ringwood Rugby Club.

The company’s Ringwood store has given £250 from its community budget, which is funded through Bag for Life sales, to help the club purchase new equipment.

Store manager Kevin Strowger said: “Our store is at the heart of the local community and it is important that we can do as much as we can to support it.”

“When we heard about Ellingham & Ringwood Rugby Club we were really pleased to be able to help out.”

The scheme raised more than £500 last year.
