SENSE, the national deaf and blind charity, is looking for support from volunteers in Verwood to help with its fundraising activities this spring.

The charity is looking for people to give as little as one hour of their time to help raise vital funds in a bucket collection to be held on April 4.

Head of community fundraising Shad Everett said: “With this year’s bucket collections just around the corner we are looking for active and enthusiastic people in the community to get involved with the charity and help us raise vital funds for deaf and blind people.

“One of the great things about collections is that, as long as you are enthusiastic, friendly and positive, absolutely anyone can get involved.

“Regardless of age or experience, we want you to join in and help us make the collection a huge success.”
