YOUNG rugby players took to the pitch for the annual Level 2 School Games tag rugby festival at Avon Valley College.
Six primary schools took part and Level 3 BTEC Sport students from Avon Valley College, Kieran Jones, Jordon Cuthbertson, Alan Rai, Jake Smith, Connor Gough, Callum Hunt and Tyren Perry, took on the roles of refereeing, touch judge and timing.
The standard of play was very high and some impressive tries were scored.
Netheravon Primary School won the tournament ahead of Woodford Valley and Amesbury Archer A.
The prize for determination went to Amesbury Archer B, Larkhill won the teamwork prize, Shrewton won the passion medal and the honesty award went to Woodford Valley.
